These gorgeous face masks and scrunchies are made using the offcuts from our block print kimonos.
With the aim to reduce wastage in our business we decided to produce a collection of masks and scrunchies with the leftover textiles from the stitching process.
The art of Indian block printing on textiles is a time consuming process which has survived from ancient times to present day. Block prints are done by eye, and telltale signs of the human hand, even imperfections, are part of the ineffable humanity and beauty of the craft.
The cotton used for our kimonos was hand printed in Jaipur, and brought to one of the tailors we work with in Pushkar, who operates a small family business from his own home.
We’re completely blown away by the response to our November Sale — thank you so much for your support! We’ve never had this many orders before, and it honestly means the world to us.
We’re a tiny two-person team (hi, it’s just us!) and we’re working around the clock to pack each order carefully and send them out in the order they were received.
Please expect some delays during this busy time while we work through the mountain of parcels — your patience means everything to us.
If you need an update on your order, we’re always just an email away: hello@foragedesign.com 💫

We’ve created the ‘Seconds and Imperfect Pieces’ section of our shop to tackle waste within our business.
Waste is a problem, and the fashion industry is a big contributor, with brand new garments being destroyed or sent to landfill.
Join us in saying goodbye to fast fashion and hello to seconds-and-imperfections.
Every sale triggers a donation.
