These beautiful, leather hip bags have some imperfections in the colour or texture of the leather. Expect small blemishes, scratches or pen marks.
We make our products in very small batches, using family run businesses and tailors in India. Due to the nature of our production, minor imperfections are to be expected in these unique, hand made products, but from time to time the imperfections are a little more than we are comfortable with. Our makers rely on our income, so we choose not to reject any of the products we receive from our makers.
Minimising our waste with your help
We are always looking for new ways to soften our footprint and one of these is to minimise waste.
Our imperfect pieces have been discounted due to minor flaws, whether they are manufacture seconds or ex display, these pieces have some kind of cosmetic imperfections that don’t affect their wear at all, but make them a great deal for you!
They’re still beautiful. We love them and hope you do too!

- For the smaller waist, the clip can be fastened to the small, innermost, ring

Our leather is sourced directly from our tailor in India, purchased in very small quantities often from what has been left over from larger manufacturers.
Each batch of leather varies in colour and texture, and sometimes come with scuffs, blemishes and imperfection. This model in particular has some scuffs to the leather.
We feel that this adds to the unique appeal of our products, and reduces slightly their environmental impact.
Ultimately all our leather wears in the same beautiful way.

Shipping
We ship using Royal Mail 1st class Standard Delivery.
This service does not offer tracking, compensation for jewellery, or for contents over £20.
If you require these services you may wish to contact us to discuss a different shipping option.
We aim to ship within 2 - 3 working days of receiving your order, though on rare occasion it may take up to 5 days.
We ship worldwide from the UK using Royal Mail standard international shipping.
This service is not tracked, please contact us if you would like to purchase tracked shipping.
Usually items shipped overseas arrive within 7 - 10 days or quicker, but on rare occasions it can take up to a month.
We believe this depends on the postage service in the destination country.
VAT & IMPORT DUTY
Orders received from outside of the UK may be liable for VAT or import charges upon delivery.
These charges vary from country to country, and your goods may be held at customs until you have cleared them and paid the relevant taxes.
Returns
We hope that you are absolutely delighted with your Forage product.
If you are not 100% satisfied, you may return your order within 21 days of the date printed on the dispatch note.
You must contact us by email or telephone within 7 days of receiving the item to arrange the return.
Return postage and packaging is at the cost of the customer.
You must retain a proof of postage receipt. We cannot take responsibility for items which fail to reach us or are insufficiently packaged.
We are happy to refund or exchange products returned to us as long as they are in an unworn and fully re-sellable condition.
We reserve the right to refuse refund should the item appear to be used.
We also reserve the right to deduct postage costs incurred in sending the item to you (for UK customers) and any additional postage costs incurred in sending the item to you (for non-UK customers).
We can only offer refunds for items bought online, for non-internet sales we can offer exchanges or credit note.
Should an item appear to be faulty please contact us within 21 days to let us us know, we cannot accept returns on items that have been heavily worn.
